Keynote Speaker

AFFI is pleased to present David Feherty, CBS golf analyst and former PGA professional, as the keynote speaker for the AFFI Annual Meeting and Keynote Breakfast.

Growing up in Northern Ireland, David aspired to be an opera singer until the links started calling his name. David turned pro at 17 and over the span of his professional career notched 10 victories worldwide and over $3 million in prize money. His triumphs included wins at the Scottish Open, BMW Open and Madrid Open. David captained the winning Irish team in the 1990 Alfred Dunhill Cup and was a member of the 1991 European Ryder Cup Team.

David retired from professional golf in 1997 and became a golf analyst for CBS Sports. Known for his wit and humor, David has quickly become golf’s favorite announcer. In addition to his broadcasting duties, David has written five books, several of which were New York Times Best Sellers, as well as a monthly column in Golf Magazine and a new show on the Golf Channel, Feherty.
