Business Meetings

AFFI-CON suites and meeting rooms provide the ideal setting to conduct your business meetings with other key contacts at AFFI-CON. The Manchester Grand Hyatt is home to all AFFI-CON events, suites and meeting rooms.

Please note there are a limited number of suites and meeting rooms. All space is assigned according to AFFI’s Conferences and Member Services Council policy, which is based on a priority point system. The priority point system has been changed for AFFI-CON 2017 and uses the following criteria:

  • Membership Classification
  • Advertising, Exhibiting & Sponsorship
  • Frozen Food Foundation
  • Years of Membership
  • Number of Registered Attendees

The deadline to submit suite and meeting room requests is Nov. 7, 2016.

Assignments

Suites and meeting rooms will be assigned and confirmed via email in mid-December 2016. If you are not assigned a suite or meeting room, you will be notified by AFFI. Please note that the occupant of the suite or meeting room must be registered for AFFI-CON at the time of application.

Policy

In an effort to cut down on business meetings taking place with non-registered attendees we will have increased security on all meeting room levels. Individuals without badges will not be allowed in meeting rooms. In addition to meeting room security, companies who hold business meetings in their suites or meeting rooms with non-registered attendees, both parties will be responsible for registration payment at the FULL LATE registration rate amount.
